Last Minute Picking - 5/15/2010

Thankfully our neighbors informed us correctly that the strawberries at our local orchard were still in harvest for a few more days. I was told my someone else that they were done already due to the warmer weather this year. We got there about 45 minutes before they closed and got just enough strawberries and snap peas. Jon and Justin were so sweaty and hot after the strawberry picking that I had to pick the peas alone. But if you know me, you know that the heat won't stop me from getting good and healthful food!! Tomorrow Justin and I are going to pick blueberries and if any make it past the first day then we'll bake something too.
