Thanks again to the Sextons for taking us all over CO and making our vacation that much more meaningful and fun! We had a great vacation spending time with everyone and seeing how the all kids have grown and changed. Can't wait to do it again...even if not for several more years from now.

Colorado Vacation - 10/13/2010
Here is where our adventure began at the BWI airport. Justin did okay for his first air travel but boy did he give a fight on both flights before finally exhausting himself to sleep. He slept about 8 minutes on the way out to CO and about 35 minutes on the way back. I don't think we'll be flying anytime too soon after all that we went through for this trip. Justin also didn't take one nap while being there except one time falling asleep for about 20 minutes in the car. Thankfully he did well despite the lack of his normal 2.5-3 hour daily naps and didn't have any melt downs.
If only the tired little guy could have fallen asleep much sooner on each 3.5-4 hour flight!!
Sidewalk chalk continues to be a proven fun activity for all ages!
This a small horse farm within seconds from Laura and Jim's place. We fed the horses some carrots and thankfully didn't loose any fingers/hands. There was one horse that was pretty aggressive and scared me to death while feeding it!
Our first outing was to the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, CO. There were so many trains to look at, climb on, and explore. It was a great activity for all!

The next bunch of photos were taken at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. We were amazed at the rock formations and gorgeous views as we walked the trails.

Here we all were as someone took our family shot. We couldn't have picked a better day to tour the Garden of the Gods. After our walk through the garden, we went and did some downtown shopping and dinning in Manitou Springs. Jon and I got an iced coffee drink and Justin drank more than his share!! He wouldn't give it back to us after just one sip.

The dads did such a great job with all the kids and giving the moms a break throughout the week.

The cousins played well together and had lots of fun whether at the house or out and about. It's just too bad we all live so far away.

We got to meet up with my cousin, Lori and her family at the Colorado Mills Mall in Lakewood. Justin was a bit cranky because it was his nap time but we sure enjoyed catching up with each other after way too many years since seeing each other.

The cousins together (all but Xavier and baby Pledger missing). We all decided that the traditional couch photo is a must whenever we get them together.
Laura and Jim took us to a Jumping play place for the kids. Justin could have stayed there all day!!
The next three photos were taken in Boulder. After checking out some of the beautiful scenery and views we went to Pearl Street and shopped around a bit. Then we enjoyed lunch at the Cheesecake Factory but unfortunately Jim got food poisoning later that evening from the burger he ate.
